Annie Ruth Watson

May 25, 1940 - June 21, 2022

Annie Ruth Ghee Watson of Fayetteville passed this life on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at the age of 82 years. Graveside services will be on Monday June 27th at 3:00 PM at Prospect Cemetery in Fayetteville, Tennessee. She was born in Davidson County Tennessee to the late Grady and Era Bennett Ghee. Annie worked many years for the Lincoln County School system as a resource teacher until she retired. She loved Gardening, quilting, and cooking and especially being with her family. She was a member of the Park City Baptist Church where she was a very active member within the church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Joe Ollie Watson, son; Thomas Mark Watson, daughter; Kathy Darlene Watson Smith, brothers; Grady Ghee Jr, James Ghee, John Ghee, sisters; Katherine Hedgepath, and Pearl Swoner. Mrs. Watson is survived by her daughter; Carolyn McFerrin of Auburn, Georgia, and six grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
