Mrs. Geneva Ann Waggoner Sullenger, 79, passed this life on Aug. 13, 2016 at her residence in Moore County, Tennessee. Geneva was born on Oct. 22, 1936 to the late John Eligha and Ethel Ann Hopkins Waggoner. A member of the Marble Hill Methodist Church, she loved and admired her family and cherished her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, listening to Gospel Blue Grass music and for many years helping on the family dairy farm. Surviving Geneva are her husband T.J. and children Lorie Evans and her husband Eddy of Lynchburg along with Michael Sullenger and his wife Janice also of Lynchburg. Also surviving are two brothers, Charles Waggoner and wife Polly of Hillsboro and Jackie Waggoner and his wife Mary of Estill Springs. Several grandchildren survive including Timothy Sullenger and his wife Jada of Eva, Alabama, Tiffany Bates and her husband Ryan of Lynchburg and Trenton and Kelsie Evans also of Lynchburg. Rylynn Bates and Jolee Sullenger are surviving great-grandchildren. Mrs. Sullenger was preceded in death by brothers Marvin, Pete, Raymond and Lynn Waggoner. Visitation with family will begin at noon on Aug. 18, 2016 at Lynchburg Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home’s chapel.
