Mrs. Mary Margaret Harper was born July 31, 1941 in Fayetteville, TN to the late Rufus C and Rose May Anderson Parks. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Louis Harold Harper; her mother and father-in-laws, William Lee and Pauline Harper; three brother-in-laws, Jimmy Harper, Clin Harper and Johnny Harper. Four sister-in-laws; Jean Ann Brown, Margaret Harper, Sandra Hardin and Martha Parks and her beloved cherished grandson, Kemarion Lay. Margaret graduated from West End High School in 1960. She was a faithful member of the Fayetteville Congregation of Jehovah's Witness. She actively shared her faith with others by means of her ministry. Margaret was well known as the hat lady. It was rare to find Margaret without her signature hats. She served her community as a seamstress for many years. Margaret was employed by the Fayetteville City School System for 38 years. She was well known as the bus driver who did not play. In her spare time you would find Margaret in the Goodwill thrifting and with her children and grandchildren who she loved and cherished so much. Mrs. Mary Margaret Harper leaves to cherish her memory two devoted daughters; Juanita Harper and Jennifer Harper of Fayetteville, TN and one devoted son, Tony (Queenie) Harper of Nashville, TN; Seven grandchildren, Tekoa Harper, Arsenio Norris, Aereion McDonald, Domonic Maddox and Kealando Harper all of Fayetteville, TN, Michael Harvell and Marquita Harwell of Nashville, TN; twelve great-grandchildren, Trevonte Emmons, Keidrick Williams, Jaylen Williams, Emoni McMullen, Kalianna Baker, Laydon Norris, Louis Norris, Marquiz, Gregory Asia, Harvell, Antonio and Micah; three great great-grandchildren, Alayah, TJ and Taysun; three sisters, Zella Young of Washington, DC, Francene Hereford and Ann (Darryl) Young of Fayetteville, TN and four brothers, Charles Rufus (Barbara) Parks, Jody (Shelia) Parks of Fayetteville, TN, Willie Parks of Cleveland, OH and Jimmy Parks of Nashville, TN.
