Michael Lee Gill “Popeye”, age 63, of Fayetteville, TN passed this life January 24, 2022, in Lynchburg, TN. He was born December 30, 1958, in Indianapolis, IN to the late S.R. and Rosemary Gill. Michael served in the US Navy and was a proud Veteran. Michael enjoyed cooking and worked as a Chef. He was a former business owner of Sarge’s Shack and Popeye’s Bar. Michael was a remarkable artist. He also enjoyed watching sports, fishing and his pets. A memorial service will be held on Saturday February 12 at 11:00 Am, at the St. Anthony Catholic Church on 1900 Huntsville Hwy. in Fayetteville, TN. The Rev. George Panthananickal will be conducting the service. There will be a visitation with the family at 9:00 am till service time at 11:00 am. Michael is survived by his significant other, Mellea Bradford; brothers, Don Gill (Brenda Thompson) and Anthony Gill (Sherrie); sister, Mary Wright; nephews, Nick Gill (Becca), Michael Anthony Gill, and James Wright; niece, Christina McGee (Jason); and great-niece, Bethany McGee, and stepchildren Dominic and Christina.
